VERTEX is an international and multi-disciplined professional services firm that offers something unique in the AEC industry. Unlike others, VERTEX provides forensic solutions alongside construction project advisory, engineering, and environmental services. Our experts and technical professionals generate a comprehensive and thorough approach to every project.
VERTEX, through our subsidiary company, Compass Project Management, had the honor for the past three years to serve as the Owner’s Project Manager for this one-of-a-kind, eco-friendly high rise in Boston. The 'Jenga Building' is 19 stories tall, though it goes further down than up when you factor in the geothermal system. The boreholes for the geothermal pumps are 1,500 feet deep. As the largest net-zero emissions building in the city and 100% fossil-fuel free, this development is the first major teaching center to be built on the Charles River Campus in over 50 years.
BU, thank you for this amazing opportunity and we look forward to the next one!
VERTEX has a project log dating back over 25 years and inclusive of ~100,000 site locations. Our goal is to better the natural and built environment, one project at a time.
In this ever-changing world of construction, engineering, environmental and architectural development, we want to give our readers a place to find relevant information, answers, and solutions. Dating back over 5 years, VERTEX's unique library of technical blogs is authored by VERTEX employees.
Because industry forecasters fear the US will soon be faced with multiple distressed construction projects, this month, we are featuring 'Analyzing Labor Productivity in Construction Estimates', authored by David Hopkins, CPE.
Check out our entire technical insights library on our website and suggest upcoming topics involving construction project advisory, engineering, environmental, and forensics. We value the input!
VERTEX IS LEADING THE AEC INDUSTRY AS THOUGHT LEADERS, EDUCATORS, AND LIFETIME LEARNERS
VERTEX is excited to announce a newly formed Master of Legal Studies in Forensic Engineering (MLS) program at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. This program, co-developed by VERTEX and Sturm College of Law, is designed as a graduate program for construction and engineering professionals whose interests and areas of employment would be enriched by the study of construction law, forensics, the legal system and legal reasoning but who do not want to practice law.
VERTEX embraces learning as a core value and we provide routine education and training resources to clients, employees, and industry partners. Check out some of our upcoming and recent events and trainings. Or if you want to see our accredited content, view our Course Catalog.
At VERTEX, we are connected by our drive to provide value and results for our clients. We foster long-term relationships not just with our clients, but within our organization. Below are just a few of the employees we want to spotlight, so you can get to know the people behind our success. And as a growing team of over 750 employees, we look forward to sharing many more amazing employees in the months to come.
